You will work alongside the IT subject Lead and external computer service to provide onsite IT assistance to the school.
Main Duties
Basic hardware and software troubleshooting
Audio visual assistance and troubleshooting
iPad management
Liaise with off site IT support with every day issues
Liaise with IT Subject Lead and Grade 6 SSA
Whole school App Management
Staff Training
Licensing
Curriculum computing
Online Safety
Social Media
Blended Learning
Knowledge & Skills required
The ability to successfully communicate with varying stakeholders
The ability to multi-task and manage multi-streams of work
The ability to troubleshoot every day IT tasks
Quick to adopt new technology
The skills to analyse and interpret data and act accordingly
Use own initiative to service the IT needs of the staff and pupils to ensure a continuous provision.
The ability to be pro active about online safety in conjunction with legislation
Understand GDPR/Data protection
We will offer initial and on-going training for those applications that are unfamiliar. Support will be provided by our off-site IT service, Subject Lead and School Business Manager.
