We are looking for an exceptional individual comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in day to day tasks. You’ll be able to show us a talent for logical thinking, problem solving and turning frustrated customers into happy customers.
What you'll need
- Prior experience of supporting multiple systems and users ideally in a contact centre environment
- In-depth knowledge of contact centre technology and processes and how these can be improved through exploiting existing technologies and introducing new solutions
- Sound knowledge of desktop configuration, software installation and networking technologies (wired and wireless)
- Excellent understanding of relevant systems, software and hardware e.g. HP, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft operating systems and applications, Linux, Avaya, Citrix, IVR, VOIP
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Scripting, WSUS, WDS
- Understanding of Virtual Servers and Cloud Infrastructure
- Clear and concise communication skills to all levels of staff
- Ensure adherence to Security Practice to different regulatory/client requirements (ISO27001, PCI etc.)
- Liaise with IT Help Desk, IT teams and customers to provide resolutions and support
IT certification such as MCP, MCSE or CCNA would be beneficial. This role may include out-of-hours “on-call” support and there may be occasional travel to other locations depending on business requirements. A driving licence and access to transport is therefore beneficial.
