Location: London (3 / 4 days a week office or on-site)

About the role
We’re looking for a bright and approachable individual to join the IT team in London as an IT Technician. This role focuses on providing excellent first line IT support, either through ad-hoc requests via ticket or email, or by expanding our knowledge base that enables our users to help themselves.
As the London IT team supports 100+ employees across the UK, whilst maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure to enable rapid turnarounds and growth. Opportunities to participate on projects alongside the System Administrators and IT Manager will be frequent.
The role will be based in our London office in Soho with some flexible arrangements to work from home from time to time, there also will be a need for commuting to on-site to our Studio Locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- First line IT support for our on-site and off-site users via our internal helpdesk, emails, and walk-ups
- Maintaining our public Knowledge Base and internal IT documentation, including assets and license tracking
- Data IO tasks, moving content in and out of our secure production network, along with pruning and moving wrapped shows to archive
- Provisioning/decommissioning user accounts and associated access permissions across various platforms
- Assisting with the movement of IT assets between our sites, the data centre and secure storage
- Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with the company's multiple departments, including Production, Talent, Editorial and New Business teams at the London & LA offices
- Liaising with third party vendors for support and warranty requests
Essential Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Prior experience in a technology support role
- Proven ability to work calmly under pressure with accuracy, supporting users working to tight deadlines
- Understanding of basic network concepts: Subnets, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn.
- A team player who enjoys working with and supporting colleagues
Desirable Skills:
- Prior experience supporting Visual Effects and/or Games development creative artists
- Support experience of software from Adobe, Autodesk, Avid & Foundry
- Prior experience supporting cloud office productivity suites (Office 365, Google Workspace)
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Media, Engineering or relevant field
