POST: IT Technician
LOCATION: Schools across the Trust
GRADE: Band D – E progression to E dependent on qualification, skills and experience
SALARY: £23,194 - £32,020
HOURS: 37 hours per week full time
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented individual with an inquisitive nature and excellent attention to detail to join our IT Support Team working across our schools based in the Black Country.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experience ICT Technician to provide technical support and expertise across our Primary schools.
Applicants must have a minimum of at least two years’ experience in the IT sector,
A sound working knowledge and understanding of:
- Hardware repairs of laptops / tablets
- Installation of Microsoft Windows on standalone devices and networked PC’s
- Good understanding of Office 365 – Outlook, OneDrive for Business, Exchange and Sharepoint Online
- Installation of Microsoft Office Suite
- Setup of computer hardware, software and systems
- Setup of network printers, installation of software locally & through package allocation
- Computer troubleshooting from diagnostics to backup of data to upgrade or rebuild
- Computer viruses and security
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2012 basic Active Directory users and permissions
Applicants must have a flexible customer focused approach to their work and be able to travel and move equipment between schools.
