Job description
Sheffield United Football Club are seeking a forward-thinking IT Technician to join our team. As IT Technician, you will be a motivated team player with a passion for all things IT. You will be the first port of call for helpdesk tickets and take a proactive approach to IT support. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will contribute when working within a team, as well as being able to manage your own workload.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide first class technical support to all users.
- Respond to helpdesk requests in a timely manner, using your knowledge and experience to solve technical queries, both on-site and remotely.
- Maintain the IT asset register and print fleet, including consumables management.
- Manage IT equipment and software set up, taking ownership of the IT asset handover process; supporting users with equipment set up and providing training where necessary.
- Maintain the IT infrastructure (wired and wireless networks) across our multiple sites.
- Assist in developing Intune for device management, software deployment and patching.
- Set up user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Flexibility required, with occasional out of hours working for operational requirements (evenings and weekends).

- To adhere to all Sheffield United Football Club's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.

Skills/Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Microsoft Windows, Office and Server.
- Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Sharepoint.
- Microsoft Exchange Online.
- Active Directory/Azure AD, Intune.
- IT asset/print fleet management.
- Understanding of network protocols (DHCP, DNS, NAT, etc.)
- Basic understanding of Cyber security and GDPR.
- Mac OS (Preferred).
- 3CX VoIP (Preferred).
- Person-oriented approach with the ability to build a good rapport.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive approach to IT support.
- Customer service focused.
- Forward thinking.
- Full UK driving license.
