Job description

Sheffield United Football Club are seeking a forward-thinking IT Technician to join our team. As IT Technician, you will be a motivated team player with a passion for all things IT. You will be the first port of call for helpdesk tickets and take a proactive approach to IT support. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will contribute when working within a team, as well as being able to manage your own workload.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide first class technical support to all users.
Respond to helpdesk requests in a timely manner, using your knowledge and experience to solve technical queries, both on-site and remotely.
Maintain the IT asset register and print fleet, including consumables management.
Manage IT equipment and software set up, taking ownership of the IT asset handover process; supporting users with equipment set up and providing training where necessary.
Maintain the IT infrastructure (wired and wireless networks) across our multiple sites.
Assist in developing Intune for device management, software deployment and patching.
Set up user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD.
Flexibility required, with occasional out of hours working for operational requirements (evenings and weekends).

Skills/Knowledge and Experience Required:

Microsoft Windows, Office and Server.
Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Sharepoint.
Microsoft Exchange Online.
Active Directory/Azure AD, Intune.
IT asset/print fleet management.
Understanding of network protocols (DHCP, DNS, NAT, etc.)
Basic understanding of Cyber security and GDPR.
Mac OS (Preferred).
3CX VoIP (Preferred).
Person-oriented approach with the ability to build a good rapport.
Excellent communication skills.
Proactive approach to IT support.
Customer service focused.
Forward thinking.
Full UK driving license.
