Job description
We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join a successful IT consultancy company in Dundee.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for clients reporting ICT issues, faults or requests; contacts are typically by telephone or by email or face-to-face;
- Ensure that all ICT issues, faults and requests are logged into the helpdesk ticketing system;
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
- Assist in other duties relating to the day-to-day maintenance and of the client's computer systems;
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
- Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
- Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
- Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time.
