We are looking for an IT Technician to join our team and provide technical support to our customers. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join a fast-paced and dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer systems.
- Install Starlink Satellite internet dishes
- Install security camera systems
- Install networking equipment (WiFi AP's, Switches, Routers, Ethernet Cabling)
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as system backups, virus scans, and system updates.
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in person.
- Monitor system performance and ensure security of data.
- Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities.
A company vehicle will be provided. Applicant is requirted to have an Ontario G class drivers liscense or equivilliant. Some jobs are 2-3 hours away and will require driving longer than normal distances.
Applicant is required to have their own tools including a drill, impact drill, and basic tools. Any specialty tools will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
