Job description
Encocam are recruiting a IT Technician to work as part of our small Systems team at our New Head Office in Alconbury Weald, Cambridgeshire. This would be an ideal for anyone looking to build a career in the IT computer industry.
You will be the 2nd line of IT support assisting the IT Engineer, who will be mentoring you and helping develop your computer skills and talents.
You will be responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining Microsoft Windows 10 systems, company mobile phones and printers for all the 230 employees across the different offices.
There is a wide range of responsibilities, which will include:
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of all hardware and software throughout the company at different locations.
- Troubleshoot, fix, and repair mobiles, desktop, laptop, and server issues.
- Implement new technologies and provide resources to complete IT projects as needed.
- Provide a reliable and effective support service to our internal/external customers.
- Assist with the prompt resolution of support service tickets
- Identifying and resolving software and hardware issues as required.
- Creating and maintaining user accounts in Microsoft 365/Active Directory
- Creating & maintaining of accounts in the Telephony system
- Reviewing the held messages in Mimecast
- Reviewing the messages identified by IronScales.
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
You will need at least 3 years IT experience including installation, configuration and deployment of software and computers for this support position.
Encocam engineering manufacture products within the automotive safety industry which includes crash test dummies as well as aluminium honeycomb for crash barriers and composite panels across our 2 production sites.
