Salary Scale E Point 9 – 15 - £26,472 - £29,214 p.a. (depending on experience)
36 hours per week / 52 weeks per year (working hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, or 8:15 am to 4:15 pm)
This role could be undertaken as a hybrid role working one or two days remotely.

Coombe Academy Trust is a successful and collaborative multi academy trust consisting of two secondary schools, three primary schools and a central team in the Royal borough of Kingston upon Thames.
The Trust is seeking to appoint a motivated individual to complement our friendly, professional IT Service Team, and have the commitment to be part of an innovative and forward-thinking academy trust.
The role will be providing front line support to staff, students and other users of the Trust IT systems. Working as part of a team to ensure support requests are logged and dealt with in a timely manner and under the direction of the IT Managers to maintain, repair, install and update school devices and systems.
Main duties will include:
- Supporting pupils, staff and other users of the Trust systems.
- Ensuring all IT requests and jobs are logged on the helpdesk.
- Recording support requests and communicating outcomes to stakeholders, escalating more complex tasks to IT Managers for resolution, where necessary.
- Assisting with repairing and running a large fleet of 1:1 Chromebooks at our two secondary schools.
- Google Workspace & Active Directory administration in line with Trust Policies.
- Supporting the Coombe IT Services Team with the uptime of all IT systems in line with the Trust SLA.
- Ability to work across the two secondary and three primary schools in the Trust.
- Working to targets set by the IT Service Manager.
