We are looking for a talented, experienced It Technician to help support our team with various duties. The successful candidate will be familiar with troubleshooting hardware and software problems and have experience in network infrastructure. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to quickly solve any issues that arise, be familiar with both Windows and Mac products, and be able to accurately document processes to help train new employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor customer networks and systems with remote monitoring platform and raise tickets where issues are reported
  • Resolve issues from monitoring platform
  • Monitor and resolve support tickets from customers on ticketing system platform
  • Provide remote, telephone and onsite support
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support
  • Support customer systems at both hardware and software levels
  • Install and configure new systems
  • Install, configure, monitor and resolve issues with EDR solution
  • Install, configure, monitor and resolve issues with backup solution
  • Escalate to and work with senior technicians on more complex issues
  • Install, configure and uninstall software and applications.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems in computer systems, networks, or telephone equipment.
  • Maintain internal and customer asset lists
  • Communicate clearly with customers providing the right level of technical feedback.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Some travel to customer sites might be required

Experience:

  • Windows operating systems, Windows 10/11
  • Server operating systems, from Server 2012 to Server 2022
  • Server elements such as AD, DHCP, DNS, Exchange (on-prem), IIS
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Backup solutions
  • Network fundamentals

Salary: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
