Job Title: IT Technician
Join our team to provide essential IT support for staff and students at Cottenham Village College.

Duties:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Set up and manage user accounts and access permissions
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity
- Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls and antivirus software
- Assist with the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and software
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Document IT procedures and create user guides as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
