Wavehill IT Solutions (part of the Network Communications Group has a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced IT Support professional to join our fast growing team of IT Technicians at our MSP company based in London (Enfield Town) to help support and deliver projects to our long established clients in all parts of London. As part of the team you will gain exposure to a wide range of sectors and range of technologies from on-premise to cloud.

You must be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for IT and Tech and have a strong Customer Service focused approach. The role is part of the helpdesk team based in the office and or onsite at clients when required, usually 1 or 2 days a week to either resolve issues that can’t be fixed remotely or to assist with project delivery. WFH when authorised will be considered after probation.

Overview of roles and responsibilities and skills required:

➢Minimum 2 years’ experience in providing 1st, 2nd line IT Support.

➢Take support calls and create tickets. Provide professional client support with good troubleshooting skills and good verbal communication.

➢Take ownership of problems and track to successful, timely conclusion and work with more experienced team members to ensure you constantly grow your skills.

➢Windows 10/11 installing and troubleshooting.

➢Windows Server exposure with roles such as Active Directory, Remote Desktop, File and Print required. Understanding of RAID concepts.

➢Microsoft 365 with a good understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams. Intune and Azure Active Directory an advantage.

➢Strong understanding of Networking troubleshooting and fundamentals of DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.

➢Experience with Draytek, Unifi, or FortiGate an advantage, but essential is knowledge how to connect a business router to the ISP and concepts such as port forwarding and LAN and WAN IPs.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
