We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic individual to join our team. Westminster Forum Projects are currently recruiting for an IT & Technical Support Assistant to join the team, providing technical support on internal IT issues and leading the technical aspect of the company’s online conferences.
The ideal candidate will be a professional individual with a keen willingness to learn and is looking to progress a career within a growing organisation.
The role –
IT Support
General 1st line and 2nd line support to the company including but not exclusively:
- Overseeing maintenance of all IT systems;
- General IT support to all staff including solving problems and fixing PC related issues;
- Liaison with third-party support companies;
- Onboarding new starters on the system and overseeing company equipment
Online conferences – Technical support
- Hosting virtual conferences
- Regularly researching, testing the online platform for continuous improvement of the virtual events
- Providing technical support for attendees
- Preparing post-conference materials
- Arranging staffing and scheduling for upcoming conferences
The successful candidate –
- Experience with virtual events software – Desirable
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Confident and excellent communication skills
- The ability to troubleshoot a variety of IT-related issues and resolve user issues;
- A positive "can do" attitude and flexibility in taking on a broad range of IT responsibilities and tasks at short notice;
- The ability to quickly learn new operating procedures and maintain established systems; and
- The ability to perform a variety of general administrative tasks on Microsoft products.
- Possess a driving license and access to a vehicle.

The role is full time, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. The role is remote, but the ideal candidate will need to be located within a close distance of our base in Bracknell and will involve some days in the office. This will be required when arranging equipment and in the lead up to conferences.
