SAI services’ develops the SAS (Software As a Service) products which helps our clients to position themselves at the forefront of modern technology. Along with the Artificial Intelligence, SAI are going to make use of Machine Learning, Artificial Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). Our goal is to help clients build their software products and digital presence in the sectors of E-commerce, Social Media and Digital Advertising.

As an IT System Administrator, you’ll be responsible for:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, networks, and associated hardware and software.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Implement upgrades, patches, and security measures to ensure system integrity and data protection.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing their IT-related issues and inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Assist users with software installations, system configurations, and access permissions.
  • Monitor network performance, analyse traffic patterns, and optimize network resources.
  • Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Perform regular backups of critical data and test the restore process to verify data integrity.
  • Educate users on IT security best practices and enforce compliance with security policies.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity utilization to proactively identify and address bottlenecks or issues.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring accurate records of licenses and warranties.
  • Coordinate the procurement, installation, and retirement of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and assist with license audits when necessary.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, solutions, and vendors to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Requirements and Skills for an IT System Administrator:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are advantageous.
  • Typically, 2-5 years of experience in IT system administration or a related role is required.
  • Experience in managing and supporting Windows and/or Linux-based systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficient knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and their administration.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and routing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with end-users, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in managing and administering Windows and/or Linux-based systems.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions and strategies.
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep up with emerging trends.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
