£38,000 - £45,000 per annum
Permanent Office based role working Monday to Friday
Commutable from Harrogate, Northallerton, Thirsk, Boroughbridge or York
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a IT Systems Administrator to join a well-established growing company based near Ripon in North Yorkshire.
The Role
You will be reporting to the Head of IT and the role of Senior Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for developing, administering, maintaining and securing the company infrastructure systems with focus on the company’s VMWare/Windows environment, Hosted Systems, Cisco networks & Telephony.
Duties
- Support, maintain and develop the IT infrastructure
- Liaise with third parties engaged in hosting and supporting the company systems
- Document IT systems and processes.
- Maintain secure systems in alignment with PCI and DPA standards
- Ensure change management processes are followed for system/software changes.
- Provide advice and support to other IT team members.
The Person
- Experienced and knowledge of Microsoft Server and desktop systems
- VMWare
- Cisco Firewalls and Switches
- TCPIP switching, routing, smtp, proxy servers, DHCP and DNS
- VOIP
- IT Hardware
- Excellent communication skills
