Position Summary
M&R CARE LTD is seeking a full-time IT Support Professional to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and assisting with the installation and troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, and other devices. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Mac OS X operating systems, experience with remote desktop software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to our customers via phone, email, or live chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on computers and network equipment
- Install new equipment such as printers, servers, or other devices
- Maintain existing computers and computer equipment
- Troubleshoot network devices such as switches or routers
- Maintain security of company assets (i.e., firewalls)
- Document work performed in a timely manner and provide updates to management on a weekly basis
- Work with other departments to complete projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. College degree preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience in an IT Support role required. At least two (2) years of experience in an IT Support role preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft Windows 10 and Mac OS X operating systems. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, DHCPv4/v6, TCP/IP, Firewall, VLANs, etc. preferred.
- Experience using remote desktop software such as Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business a plus.
