Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience

The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join the IT Department at the Moredun Group.
You will provide first line support to all the staff within the Moredun Group which consists of Moredun Research Institute, Moredun Scientific and Pentlands Science Park. If required, you may also provide support to tenant companies on site at Pentlands Science Park and assist with setting up meeting/conferencing facilities.
You will be the first point of contact in the IT Department and be required to monitor the IT Service Desk, set up and install new devices, printers and phones.
You will be required to participate in an on-call out-of-hours rota for which additional payment is made.
Experience required
You will have:
- An HND or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Knowledge of deploying & supporting Windows clients in an Active Directory domain
- Experience deploying and supporting Office applications
- Understanding of user support for Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting wired and wireless clients
- Excellent customer focused communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workloads
- Ability to work flexibly and effectively as part of the IT support team
