About The Role
EKC Group are looking to appoint an IT Support Technician to join the Technology Team. You will join the front-line team and be responsible for operational support of all College IT used by the Group, across six Colleges (primarily our Canterbury campus) and other business units.
Your main role within the team will be operational support for all College IT, providing appropriate support for staff and students using these systems on a front-line basis; improving the self-service for the Group and providing an outstanding experience for all users on all platforms.
You will report to the IT Service Desk Manager and work alongside our dynamic Technology Team, either in person or through other communication channels. If you want to join a progressive, agile team at the heart of the EKC Group, we would love to hear from you.

About You
We are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and customer focused professional to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be to work independently and carry out the duties of the post with minimal direct personal supervision and will have high level organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of and practical experience in Windows 10 and 11, in addition to Android and Apple devices. Ideally experience to include configuration settings on both server and end user. You will also have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate in non-technical terms with staff /students experiencing difficulties operating the systems.
Previous experience dealing with supporting end users with technology issues. installing and configuring hardware/software and providing user training would be an advantage.
