Job description
We're a progressive and rapidly growing IT Support company looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, who will also be placed at our client sites. Our team consists of 18 members each directly contributing to the success and growth of the business. You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact in a position that will put you on the front line of our business. You will be working from the client sites 3-4 days a week and from home 1-2 days a week.
As an On-Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our clients. You will be working directly with our clients, identifying and resolving a variety of technical issues, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support for clients' hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed and issues resolved.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide status updates and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in team meetings and share knowledge with other team members.
- Follow best practices and company procedures to ensure quality service delivery.
As you progress in the business there will be opportunities for you to be fully involved in top-level projects.
We are looking for a new member of the team who MUST have:
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player mentality
- Managed Service Provider Helpdesk experience
Technically we require:
- Solid networking knowledge (ideally to a CCNA standard)
- Solid Windows Server knowledge and experience
- Solid Windows Client knowledge and experience
- A good understanding Apple Mac OSX
- Ideally experience working within an MSP business.
