HUGO BOSS UK Ltd. are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the team!
The purpose of this role is to provide systems and desktop support for our end users to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business. Working together with the rest of the local team and colleagues in Germany to deliver professional IT support for our users.
Supported by the global IT Service Desk and the Retail Care teams to improve and enhance the service level of the systems supported.
Be a key player in the setup of our exciting new store opening programme as well as rolling out key projects in our retail environment across the UK and Ireland.
What you can expect:
- Provide 1st level helpdesk service to answer users’ inquiries regarding all types of computer systems
- Perform office and store IT hardware/software installations including new starter equipment preparation.
- On-site installation and decommissioning of IT services across our stores, warehouses, and offices.
- General networking duties including PCs and Printer setup and problem resolution
- Support of modern communication and messaging applications e.g. Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, IP telephony
- Work closely with central Service Desk and other teams in Germany, aligning priorities and following global company guidelines
- Detecting and providing proactive L&D opportunities for all staff
- Support for creation of FAQ and Help information on IT troubleshooting
- Frequent travel to our locations throughout the UK and Ireland is required
Your profile:
- Minimum 3 years working experience in IT, experience in retail industry is an advantage
- Good understanding of IT administration and maintenance of a Microsoft environment with a mix of client architecture (Windows, iOS and macOS devices).
- Able to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally to all levels of staff
- Familiar with networking fundamentals
- A mindset made for troubleshooting with an eye for detail
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
