Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with different network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, you name it) using the CLI
- Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
- Familiarity with Windows client/server environments
- Good grasp of Linux distributions
- Windows PowerShell and Hyper-V skills
- LAN and WAN experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, and Teams
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent and/or MCSA certificates would be awesome!
- Main Tasks:
- Providing remote support for various IT tasks, like troubleshooting peripheral devices, installing/reconfiguring drivers, adding/removing network drives, and managing IP network settings
- Handling Hyper-V machines, maintaining and troubleshooting them
- Investigating firewall logs and finding and fixing network faults
- Conducting network maintenance and providing technical support to network users
- Training staff on new systems and keeping an eye on network usage
- Documenting network installations and modifications
- Reporting issues and tracking task progress
- Supervising helpdesk staff and ensuring smooth operations
