Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an Information Communications Technician with Tokio Marine Kiln, an Insurance Company based in London.
Job Description:
The TMK IT Apprenticeship Programme is now open for applications! We have an opportunity for one IT Apprentice to join our technology department this Autumn, on 2-year fixed term contract with a view to be permanently placed at the end of the programme. Duties include to deliver efficient operation and control of the IT. Applications close on Friday 11th August 2023.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Apprentices will rotate between different teams within the IT department to gain excellent exposure and understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and technology.
- Structured training to help you understand the of the technical principles and processes involved in the IT department. This includes training on relevant systems.
- The chance to build a network across the company and join our early careers community.
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Training to be provided:

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
- Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment, and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.
