Job description

Symtech Innovations is looking for skilled and motivated French and English-Speaking individual to join our organization. The individual will support our Canada and possibly US teams while assisting with the execution of dispatching and ticket management tasks for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in time management, attention to detail, and communication to ensure quick and efficient service for our supported clients. You will work closely with our client technology and business teams through daily, collaborative and fast-paced interaction. If you would like to have a pivotal role in implementing and supporting high-profile customers with their break-fix contracts, then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Support our STAC team as it relates to matters in Canada and possibly the US.
  • Serve as a main contact for support as an account manager with clients and manage relationships, priorities and timelines.
  • Dispatch partners across Canada on a daily basis where service is required.
  • Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans.
  • Implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions.
  • Define and document support procedures.
  • Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well as on weekends.
  • Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
  • Mentor / cross train team members and/or clients on existing and new technologies.
  • Carry out special tasks at Management's direction.
  • Interact with customers and staff at a senior technical level, as required.
  • Develop and maintain installation, configuration and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Monitoring the STAC portal, which includes merging tickets, uploading closing notes and closing out tickets.
  • Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to cases as they come in.
  • Proactively follows up on delayed or problematic cases.

Qualifications:

  • Must be Fluent in French and English, in writing, reading and speaking.
  • Knowledge of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise products.
  • Project coordination experience preferred.
  • Customer management experience preferred.
  • Managing deployments/rollouts.
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer and server-related issues.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length.
  • Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently.
  • High sense of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills
  • Self-starter
