IT Support Assistant - 12 month FTC
London

The IT Support Assistant role is to work as part of the IS team to effectively assist with the large building move for the London office and efficiently provide systems support to IS users, in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
They will establish good working relationships with colleagues and clients and assist/support other team members (and other National IS team members) where required. They will develop personal and technical skills and demonstrate a good understanding of IT products, services and capabilities.
Although the role will primarily be based on site, we’re happy to talk flexible working and will support you to balance your work and life.
A look into the role
As an IT Support assistant within our IS team, you will:
  • Assist the team with tasks related to the office move to a new building
  • Respond promptly to requests for help and support and provide first line technical support to partners and employees in the firm
  • Further your knowledge through attending training sessions/workshops and doing research when required
  • Manage your own time, workload and responsibilities where required
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as an IT Support Assistant, the minimum criteria you’ll need is previous experience of working in a busy IS support team or a demonstrable knowledge of PC hardware and software. It would be helpful if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
  • Good IT administration and organisational skills
  • Experience of hardware and software issue troubleshooting and resolution
  • Experience of service desk software and processes, ie call handling and escalation
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft 365 including Teams, remote access, MFA and smartphones
  • A degree of fitness is required as it's to assist with the removal and installation of equipment during the building move
