The opportunity to work for a industry leading company with over 100 years of trading. We have an opening for an IT Support position. The successful applicant will be responsible for helping support the company’s IT operations across its two production sites. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, skilled IT team, with the occasional opportunity to travel to Ireland to provide training and support.
IT Support Responsibilities
- User support – diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Configuration, deployment and maintenance of PCs, laptops and printers.
- Management and procurement of IT consumables.
- Support for network patching, wiring and desk moves.
- User training – hardware and software.
IT Support Technical Skills Sets and Qualifications
- Previous IT support experience desirable.
- Experience of MS Windows and Office 365 desirable but not required.
- Further training to be provided where required.
- GCSE Maths & English or equivalent
IT Support Desirable Personal Skills Sets
- Ability to work effectively by yourself and as part of a small, responsive team.
- Analytical and logical approach to problem solving.
- A diligent and positive approach to work, with a mindset of continual improvement.
- Good communication skills.
IT Support Hours of work
Hours of work will be flexible and dictated by the needs of the business.
- 38 hours per week.
- 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday
- 8am-12pm Friday
Salary
- £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Holiday Entitlement: 30 days (including public holidays)
- Profit share scheme – 5% of profit post tax
