Contract and Shift details: 12 month Fixed Term Contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Desktop Support Analyst to join our friendly IT Service Delivery Team. Our business and internal IT services are growing, and we are looking for a customer focused, hard working, team player to join our busy team to provide excellent internal IT support across our global AB Agri community.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide technical IT support to AB Agri users and key stakeholders via several methods, including telephone, email, MS Teams or in person
- Desktop support including the build of new machines, hardware triage activities and maintaining conference and IT equipment in the Peterborough office
- Being hand-on support for our users and desks are equipped with necessary hardware which is installed and presented professionally (e.g. cable management), mainly in the Peterborough office.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Procurement and provisioning of new hardware, including mobile phones, and software
- Monitor and work within AB Agri’s ticketing system to resolve user incidents and requests, working in conjunction with the IT Shared Service Centre, Third Party Contractors, and Internal Stakeholders.
- Ensure that key administration activities associated to the Business Systems tasks are achieved and maintained, such as order processing, Joiner, Mover, Leaver activities, to comply with audit standards.
- Learn and assist in administering and maintaining user accounts and permissions in numerous applications such as Active Directory.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively be involved in continuous improvement opportunities and tasks within the IT Service Delivery Team, to align with ITIL4 best practice and business demand.
- Supporting the IT Service Delivery Manager and Team Leader where necessary.

- Problem solving and troubleshooting - being the first line of defence in addressing IT incidents and requests. Having the foresight to anticipate and address potential issues before they become issues and knowing when an issue is too serve and requires escalation.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Managing time effectively – Meeting deadlines and completing what is required in a timely manner
- Team Focus – Work cooperatively and effectively and helping team members
- ITIL Foundation certified or knowledge of ITIL having worked in this environment
- Keen Interest in IT and desire to develop skills and knowledge.
