Responsibilities:

2. Install, configure, and update software applications, operating systems, and security patches across the school's computer network.
3. Provide technical support to teachers, staff, and students regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution of problems.
4. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to various systems and applications.
5. Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate technology effectively into the curriculum, providing training and support on the use of educational software, digital resources, and interactive tools.
6. Develop and implement technology policies and procedures to ensure the security and appropriate use of technology resources within the school.
7. Maintain an inventory of technology assets, including tracking and managing equipment, licenses, and warranties.
8. Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and best practices in educational technology, and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades to the school's technology infrastructure.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. Previous experience in managing and supporting technology infrastructure in an educational environment is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, network technologies, and software applications commonly used in schools.
4. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
6. Ability to provide training and support to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Knowledge of educational technology tools, software, and resources commonly used in classrooms.
9. Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations applicable to educational institutions.
10. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are advantageous.
