Job description
MGN is seeking an artistic candidate to work in our busy News Graphic Service. Daily duties will be creating News Graphics for TV and Digital News.
An interest in the News and News Graphic creation is essential. The candidate will be trained and tasked to create News Graphics and Animations
The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years experience in Graphic Design including 3-D animations and must possess the following skills
- Design : Skilled in designing digital compositions, Cutouts, 3d modeling, animation and motion graphics and essentially create News Graphics. Natural Art Skills is a plus!
- Software : Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Element 3D, Adobe Illustrator, 3d packages (E3d, Maya, C4D etc. ), MS Word, Excel
- Excellent Communication Skills : The candidate will interface with a team of Graphic Designers and Client News Directors, Producers and Artists
- Deadline Oriented : Be able to work to tight deadlines and quickly respond to breaking news events with appropriate photos and illustrations / animations.
- On Site Work Environment : The candidate must be able to reliably work at our office location and work remotely where needed .
Duties: The candidate will join a team of Graphic designers to create and post News content to MGN's website. An artistic eye is required and a creative vision for interesting and attractive News Graphics. Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects are needed to produce both animated and still image Graphic content and to illustrate News stories. The candidate be an integral part of our design team as the company focuses on our core mission of providing attractive and engaging Graphics, Photos & Animations to the News Industry.
Starting pay is based upon experience and skill level.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
