Sika Canada is seeking ambitious students looking to gain valuable IT experience. We have an exciting opportunity for an intern to participate in a work-term opportunity with our Information Technology Team. The preferred candidate will be trained to assist with the day-to-day support operations of approximately 450 users located across the country. Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to assist the full time IT staff with other special projects as time permits.
The candidate will have exposure and will become more knowledgeable about:
■ HP Hardware (desktops, laptops and tablets)
■ Salesforce “Cases” ticketing system
■ DSM system-imaging – MEM or SCCM
■ VMware server and client virtualization
■ Cisco & Extreme hardware (switches, wireless AP`s)
■ Ring Central Cloud Telephone
■ IOS mobile device deployment within the business
■ Office 365 & MS Teams
■ Windows 10
■ Network Printers
■ Active Directory & Azure

QUALIFICATIONS
■ Has obtained or is currently in the process of completing a diploma in the area of IT Technical Support.
■ Knowledge or experience with Windows 10, Office 365; VMware and Windows Server 2012/2016.
■ Knowledge of personal computers and peripherals in a networked environment.
■ Excellent oral and written communication skills. (French and English).
■ Excellent interpersonal skills.
