Summary
The SQL, C# - IT Apprentice, Plano, TX will analyze business problems to be solved with automated systems within our platforms. This individual will also help identify gaps and provide technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications, along with scaling new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
Our apprenticeship program is 90 days-long and works closely with our software development team. The first 30+ days must be done in-office, Monday to Friday at our Plano, TX location listed below. After a 45-day period, our apprentices are evaluated for a possible transition to in-office/hybrid work schedule.
Recent grads in IT, Computer Science, or related fields that have SQL and C# school or work experience are encouraged to apply!
Duties and Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required.- Some work experience in related industries is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program.
- Organized with great attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A general understanding of, and demonstrated affinity for, PCs and related technologies (networking, databases, VMs, Linux, etc.)
- User level knowledge of Windows, and basic experience with MS Office
- Tech certifications (A+, Network+, etc.) preferred
- Automation experience (Powershell, batch files, etc.) strongly preferred
- Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity
- Take personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of work
- Effectively communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner
- Challenge conventional practices and use creativity and information to lead, innovate, problem solve, and implement ideas to contribute to the growth of the organization

Working Conditions
Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
