INNOVIM is seeking IT/Computer Specialist IV, V to support our NCEI Data Stewardship contract. Job Description:

IT/COMPUTER SPECIALIST IV Consults with client or department heads to define need or problem, conducts research, performs studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyzes problems to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization. Requires knowledge in fields defined as information technology, computer programming, computer security, computer systems analysis, database management, information systems, Internet applications and development, software development, and related fields. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Educational Requirements: BS/BA

Experience Requirements:

• IT/Computer Specialist IV: 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• IT/Computer Specialist V: 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Experienced with working in a SAFe methodology.

NCEI is headquartered in Asheville, North Carolina. This position may be worked remotely.
