The IT Operations Specialist works in a team environment on all aspects of the enterprise IT environment. Under general supervision, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the operations of the Core System, job scheduler with batch operations management, data warehouse, reporting, data extraction, and supporting business applications across the organization. Reviews, tests and implements changes to financial banking systems consistent with release management policies and procedures. Updates Information Technology Policy and Procedure documentation for the Technology Solutions department while supporting daily financial core and related system operations.

Essential Functions Include but are not limited to:
- Managing Automatic, batch operations, testing, configuration, and implementation for system upgrades/changes as needed. This may include re-configuring code to ensure compatibility, conducting implementation testing to evaluate functionality of batch processes and applications, addressing issues with vendors/technical support, coordinating daily batch processes with staff, and configuring new parameters for applications/reports, and ensuring functioning of daily reports/tasks
- Conducting analysis of relational databases, developing, testing, setting up and managing daily automated batch processes
- Setting up, monitoring automated task processes, executing statuses, and coordinating resolution on any errors identified
- Responding to batch outages/errors and work with the team or business units to assist in troubleshooting and resolving outages
- Coordinating, escalating and communicating outages as necessary to maintain maximum uptime and security
- Developing knowledge of processes needed to manage user requests and projects outside of typical areas of responsibility or experience
- Performing the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly operations functions for IT, i.e. statements, notices, loan bills file transfer
- Performing DNA Core operations in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Working with Fiserv to maintain DNA Core system; this includes: system operation upgrades, loading all necessary patches and coordinating testing according to release management processes
- Providing CRM/BI, Integrator Advance (MCIF), MeridianLink (LOS), DNA Client, Lodestar (Data warehouse), intranet, Helpdesk management systems and operations support to users
- Utilizing reporting tools to provide extracts and reports as required. Developing, testing, and implementing new custom or changes to current reports
- Reviewing, testing and implementing changes and updates to databases, DNA core, and Automic batch systems
- Conducting ongoing training and orientation with other staff to increase knowledge of systems, support decision-making, and increase autonomy in addressing day-to-day issues
- Updating, supporting and promoting IT operational policy and procedure efficiencies and guidelines established in the following manuals: IT Operations Procedure Manuals, all IT Supported Systems Reference Guides, Change Management Policy and Procedures Guides, Operation & Security Manuals, and Disaster Recovery Manual
- Providing project management support
- Providing IT Help Desk support
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, or equivalent experience and range of 3 to 5 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office application including outlook, Work, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience with financial services systems (Core, LOS, eSign, GL, Marketing automation and analytics)
- Shell scripting, SQL language
- Thorough understanding of databases, data processing, batch processing, operations management and information systems
