Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Specialist will support, maintain and evolve the company’s technology strategy and ensure the technology infrastructure, both hardware and software, is the most secure, effective and efficient for the organization.

Responsibilities:

● Support the effective management and operation of the technical infrastructure (hardware, servers, networking, etc.)

● Help drive the effective management and operation of the company’s key software applications (ERP, CRM, Office 365, Slack, etc.)

● Work closely with other areas of the company to understand technology needs/issues and determine solutions

● Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable about emerging technologies and upgrades on existing systems

● Play a key role in implementing technology priorities, integrations, and other technology changes

● Lead training and reinforcement activities

● Identify security risks and help implement security measures

● Participate in annual hardware and software reviews

● Support disaster and backup recovery activities

● Respond to support requests as needed

● Provide coverage for other IT Team members as needed

Qualifications:

● Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in an IT role with exposure to all areas of IT infrastructure (software, hardware, storage and connectivity)

● Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365, SharePoint, ERP’s, CRM’s, Windows (both servers and desktops), Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Cloud and Network Infrastructure, Database software (Oracle and Microsoft SQL), various Cybersecurity tools

● Effective analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

● Strong ability to prioritize, problem solve, and act with urgency

● Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
