Job Title: MMS/IT Americas Lead – Industrial Projects

Job Location: Humble, TX

We have an exciting opportunity for MMS/IT Americas Lead – Industrial Projects to help set up and implement the use of our transportation management system with our projects and customers according to their specific requirements and/or the benefit of our operations processes. The incumbent will also Support our operations teams with their questions and use of the TMS in order to better run our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Document business requirements and ensure they are time estimated and included in delivery plan.
Interact with Global IP implementation team, BU/IT delivery management and ITS application management. Communicate business objectives, monitor progress and performance against the delivery plan
Coordinate testing and training activities to ensure appropriate action is occurring.
Responsible for setting day to day operational objectives for the team to implement program management plans to successfully manage and deliver a set of projects
Track day-to-day operations of the team for successful delivery of program
Identify operational problems and respond to critical issues to minimize delays in the delivery
Evaluate and recommend changes that significantly impact the scope or timeline of a program
Take steps to identify potential risks, relevant mitigation actions and develop contingency plan
Support implementation of program results to create targeted impact
Support to execute an effective governance structure to support program implementation
Understand customer and key stakeholders’ interests and concerns and advise Global Head of MMS, direct reports and key stakeholders
Regular contact with Global Head of MMS, Global IP implementation team, BU/IT delivery management and ITS application management.
Help support the region with their requests and needs, particularly when it comes to new business and TMS and other IT system requirements.

Skills / Requirements:

Understanding of Operations for IP Team and the tools that are used to help manage operations
Super user skills or capability to understand MMS 360 system and be able to help others better understand and use system
Communication and Presentation skills
Flexibility and ability to interface with Customer
