Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (7.30am to 4.30pm)
Salary: £26,278.20
Company Overview: WBS are the market leader of the technical development, manufacture & supply of external wall insulation systems, through-colour renders and decorative coatings. We have been in business for over 20 years and due to continued growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Assistant / Production Operative to join our busy Bridgend Team.
Summary of the Role:
The candidate will be working as part of a team to pick orders for delivery and receive good inwards with the use of a Fork
Lift Tuck. The individual will also be working on the tinting production line.
The hours of the job are 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday. We don’t work weekends or Bank Holidays. Holidays are pro- rata starting at 20 days for the first year and then increasing to 25 days. We shut down for the Christmas period giving you time to enjoy with your family.
Essential: The successful individual will:
- Have appropriate warehouse experience which should include picking orders, loading and unloading deliveries, checking of goods in/out back to paperwork, etc.
- The candidate should be able to effectively control stock and liaise with order processing staff.
- Take a responsibility for ensuring warehouse, yard and boundary areas are kept in a clean, safe and tidy condition.
- Be able to work and help other colleagues.
- Be required to work with and help customers on the trade counter
- Help in the tinting process.
Desirable:
- A Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck Licence.
- A Driving Licence is an advantage.
- The candidate will require good numeracy and literacy.
- Attention to detail is critical skill.
- We would like the candidate to have an excellent H & S awareness.
- If required and the candidate holds a valid Driving Licence they may deliver local deliveries.
