Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for an IT Service Desk Technician for an Education provider in the Leeds area on a full-time, permanent basis.
Salary: commencing at £19,834 per annum with progression to £20,402 per annum after probation period
The person & qualifications
- IT Service Management (ITSM) Qualification or proven experience in an IT Service Support role
- Further IT qualifications or certifications are desirable
Duties
·Technical IT/AV role working within the ITSS Service Desk team.
·Provide 1st line customer support within the ITSS Service Desk. All incidents and requests are recorded and resolved in line with department service level standards.
·Technical “hands on” support for the provision of 2nd line support. Support on maintaining, testing and configuring hardware, operating systems and software in relation to Campus desktops, mobile computers, mobile telephone handsets and all multimedia, classroom technology and assistive technology equipment in line with department service level standards.
·Act as an internal point of escalation for technical issues within the Service Desk Team and co- ordinate communication with other ITSS teams.
