A bit about the job:
You will coordinate and deliver Disaster and Cyber Recovery test planning and oversee execution through close collaboration with internal and external teams. Work within our dynamic IT Service Continuity Team and across the organisation (with Application teams, Business Continuity Management, change team, IT Risk and third parties) to deliver a comprehensive and trusted regime of testing for Aviva. You will own the test schedule, and broker agreement against competing demands, constraints, and dependencies in a complex IT landscape.

You will work flexibly to adapt to Business needs – the role will demand occasional weekend and evening work.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong planning skills; comfortable with managing a multi-faceted schedule with many moving parts. Real-world project delivery/planner skills needed, certifications valuable although not essential (DR, BCP, PMP, ITIL, Scrum master). Can balance an established cycle of planning with frequent/ad-hoc challenges.
- Demonstrably logical thinker, sound decision maker, an eye for detail and reliable output.
- Self-confident and seeking to make a real impact – hold strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Enjoys working both as part of a tightly knit team and influencing stakeholders across an organisation.
- A basic and foundational understanding of IT Infrastructure is valuable – i.e., the ability to discuss failover and recovery with experts.
