Location: Ipswich or Birmingham
- You will join a security team as a Cyber Security Engineer. This team looks after BT’s existing security platforms in the privileged access management space. The platforms are Windows based and they manage and control privileged credentials and access across BT’s IT and Networks estate. They are based on market leading technology from CyberArk, and you will help to run and support their expansion to new technical domains and users, both on prem and in the cloud, in the UK and the rest of the world.
- You will work in security integration projects and own and deliver technical installation, configuration, engineering, and development tasks.
- You will provide 3rd Line support and development to the existing Security Platforms, ensuring KPI’s and SLAs are met. You will own the resolution of incidents/problems impacting the platform’s ability to serve its customers. And will ensure operational procedures are maintained and followed.
- You will provide input to project delivery plans and cost/effort estimates for your own specific deliverables.
- You will build and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the existing security platforms and their technical interfaces, as well as the key use cases they support.
- Technical IT background and experience
- MS Windows Infrastructure / IIS / AD skills
- Basic networking / Unix skills
- Programming/scripting & Automation (Desirable – PowerShell, Web Services).
- IAM, privileged access management concepts and processes (Desirable)
- CyberArk Technology knowledge and hands on experience (Desirable but not essential, training will be provided)
