Are you an IT security expert, with experience supporting an organisation wide information security programme? Are you familiar with implementing effective IT security, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders?

Dogs Trust are currently going through a major IT Transformation. We want to develop an Insights and Analytics strategy to work as a roadmap to make better use of data across the organisation and to always be there for dog lovers, dog owners and our fantastic supporters.

We are recruiting for an IT Security Analyst to help with the implementation of a new information security programme and to also support the organisation with ongoing information security activities.

You will play a pivotal role in developing culture of information security and data protection and compliance across the business, working on new and existing IT security controls, awareness campaigns and policies and procedures in collaboration with key stakeholders. Becoming a trusted expert on IT security you will engage with project teams to implement security controls and mitigate risk.

With an information security related qualification or certification you will have a good understanding of hands on implementation of security controls throughout the whole Dogs Trust technology stack including cloud platforms, on premise servers and end user devices. An excellent communicator you will be familiar with Cyber Essentials and PCI compliance. With experience of training colleagues in all areas of an organisation in IT security concepts, you will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
