We are going through an exciting period of expansion and are seeking IT Risk and Controls Auditor to join our expanding risk management team. This is a new and exciting role that will open the door for a driven and innovative individual to join our team. The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for auditing our IT Controls Framework (ITCF) and evaluating various ways of making our audit and control processes more efficient. As well as testing of existing processes, this will also include working with IT and Operations teams to enhance controls and remediate any weaknesses or gaps. The right candidate will have a key role to play in designing these processes. We operate a hybrid working model which gives you the best of both working worlds and this role can be based in either our Glasgow, Greenock or Antwerp office. Position Responsibilities
Help design and then implement the framework for testing the ITCF to provide assurance on its effective operation.
Ensure newly identified risks and issues are appropriately included in the ITCF and our testing processes.
Coordinating self-assessments of the ITCF amongst process owners, including developing the process, reviewing and challenging outcomes, and identifying remediation actions where required.
Undertake independent testing of the ITCF on a cyclical basis, working with IT and operations teams to ensure this is completed in an efficient manner.
Integrating ITCF testing with our other Risk Management processes including incident key risk indicator monitoring.
Produce periodic reports to management and the European Audit Committee on the status / results of the ITCF. To complete this will involve:
Working closely with the rest of our European Risk Management team.
Liaising with various internal departments, including IT, Finance and Operations, to work in a collaborative manner.
Working with colleagues across our key European locations (UK, Belgium and Spain).
Requesting, examining, and recording of evidence.
Take part in weekly team calls within the department. Skills and Experience The suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate strong experience in the following areas:
Must have experience in auditing IT controls.
Must have a good understanding of key Risk Management concepts and be able to translate these to controls.
Attention to detail and accuracy skills are vital.
Proven track record in working in a regulatory environment would be advantageous.
Analytical and able to interpret data with ease.
Self-starter who can work on their own initiative.
