About the Role:

The primary purpose of the IT Project Manager role is to lead the delivery of single or multiple projects across one or more departments. The IT Project Manager must do this within scope, to a certain quality, and within time and cost constraints. These factors may be clearly defined or require dynamic change and risk management to deliver value.

You Will:

  • Review project proposals or plans to determine a time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and the assignment of available departmental resources to multiple project phases.
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, and required activities and tasks.
  • Review/approve the work plan of an external service provider, or consultancy, contracted to implement the project.
  • Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content and “look and feel” across the organization.
  • Ensure that project goals are following our goals.
  • Ensure that project goals are achieved.
  • Provide monthly project metrics and ensure agreed KPIs are met.
  • Implement a project communication plan.
  • Conduct risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Contribute to practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the programme is in consideration of and directly supports the achievement of strategic goals.
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel, and modify schedules or plans.
  • Address vendor and client complaints are addressed ensuring that IT maintains a positive image and provides high-quality services.
  • Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
  • Continue professional development to stay informed about latest technologies, methods and best practices

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • 3+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a matrix environment.
  • Experience in leading diverse teams.
