About the team
A growing team that manages internal projects across Adaptavist working out of the CIO’s office. The team currently takes on projects that are of high-priority to the CIO but works with stakeholders across the organization. Projects vary from being embedded within teams to deliver a product or a service as a Scrum Master to delivering more Traditional IT Projects.
About the role
Have you worked as a Project Manager focusing on internal projects? If so, this role could be for you!
The Project Manager will manage and own multiple internal engagements ensuring the delivery of internal customer expectations. This position will serve as the main point of contact between the internal customer and the delivery team. The Project Manager will take ownership of tracking project progress, providing internal reports, managing risks and issues, and guiding the project to successful delivery.
What you'll be doing
Responsible for driving several internal projects across various internal teams Managing issues, risks and project change requests- Meeting coordination and facilitation with customers internal teams
- Ensuring close monitoring and project lifecycle management
- Manage project budget worksheets, project resourcing and forecasting
- Provide Internal Reporting - Budget, project status reports, risk reports and benefit reports
- Facilitate meetings ensuring handoffs across the different teams are smooth and effective
- Support Pre-Project activities and manage opportunity resourcing Provide invoicing information to internal customers
- Generate statements of work (SOWs) during Project Initiation and Planning Phases, ensuring that requirements are clear and an understanding of the work being proposed
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the IT industry- Advanced understanding of Project Management and Software Engineering methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, PRINCE2, etc.)
- Experience with G-Suite or Microsoft software tools
- Proven experience working in a customer facing working environment, managing multiple projects
- Comfortable working with remote teams and clients utilising collaboration tools (i.e., Zoom, Slack, Skype, etc.)
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of successfully managing IT projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and with other teams
- Critical thinker including the ability to understand the “big picture,” dependencies, and trade-offs
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic technical organization with a rapidly expanding internal customer base
- Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation
