Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior IT Programme Manager who will lead IT delivery within CardFactory, driving the company's transition from a traditional "bricks and mortar" business to a thriving digital and omnichannel enterprise. The successful candidate will work closely with the Transformation Office, standardizing and maturing project delivery methods, while owning and delivering all small change and business-as-usual (BAU) IT projects. This role will have direct line management responsibility for several resources spanning project management, business analysis, and testing.
Main ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with the Transformation Office to standardize, roll out, and mature project delivery methods
Acting as the single point of contact and liaison between the Transformation Office and IT, advising and planning resource needs, prioritizing work, and directing queries as required
Owning and delivering all small change and BAU IT projects, ensuring full accountability for project delivery
Delivering projects of varying size and complexity across the full project lifecycle, including creating and operating governance with appropriate monitoring and controls
Managing projects using agile Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall methodologies
Owning IT resource demand, capacity, and utilization reporting, while supporting resource planning and allocation
Providing line management and leadership for project teams, motivating, coaching, and developing staff
- Demonstrable experience in Project/Programme related roles, focusing on IT Delivery, ideally in a Retail or Fintech organization
- Experience with delivering a program of work moving from a traditional "bricks and mortar" business into a Digital/Omni-Channel business.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of methodologies that will work effectively in a transformation and technology delivery program
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven, with a strong ownership mind-set
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
