IT Operations Manager (IT Service Management)
This role is working for the NHS. It is mostly working from home, with on-site required between one day a week and one day every 2 weeks.
This is a 12 months fixed term contract paying £70,000 to £77,000 + holiday pay (and eligibility for the pension after 3 months service, where we match your contribution of up to 10%)
When working on site you will be mostly at Amersham Hospital, but also occasionally Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Wycombe Hospital.
The key requirements of the role are strong IT Service Management experience, ITIL (qualified ideally), and good team leadership experience (you will have 5 direct reports, and the size of the overall team is 50)
Your 5 direct reports will each manage one of the following 5 operational areas that this NHS Trust provides:
Service Desk,
End User Computing (including PC, Audio Visual, Print, Mobile devices),
Service Management (ITIL),
Self Service (using ServiceNow)
Device Management (including PC, Windows 10 and O365).
The role will also include working with the IT Director on strategic development, and the implementation of the recommendations that come from this.
