Could you make Azure shine? The challenge The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) is evolving fast. We shape and deliver nuclear safety and security regulation across the UK. We're investing hugely in digital applications and channels - from new tech capabilities to sprint methodologies, the cloud and scrum mentality, it's a big transformation. It's also your chance to support our IT Service Management teams, lead our IT resolver groups and be our operational IT subject matter expert. The role We're a cloud-only organisation using Azure and the Power platform to centralise all data and create a single source of truth. An entire Microsoft ecosystem at your fingertips, giving you the chance to change and influence what we do. So, you'll see your impact from day one. In this environment, your role is crucial. You'll monitor service desk Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and overall performance, and manage our IT Service Management toolset along with its assets and permissions. We'll look to you to identify any emerging issues and trends, and see problems through to resolution. You'll also demonstrate continuous IT service improvement with a service-first approach, and provide first and second line technical support for hardware, software, AV and telephony equipment. The person You'll bring us ITIL Foundation V4 and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or their equivalent. You'll have an understanding of interacting with and creating ITIL processes such as change management. Along with this, you'll have good experience of managing an IT Service Desk toolset, dealing with IT incidents right through to resolution and improving IT services. You'll be happy contributing towards change and problem management forums too, and have a strong focus on customers.
