We specialise in selling action figures, books, comics, graphic novels, manga and toys and we offer all the best merchandise from the cult cream of movies and television.
We're looking for an experienced IT Manager with a proven track record in leading a successful IT Team.
Key responsibilities:
· Execute system and network administration, design, documentation, implementation, and testing.
· Lead on all IT set-up for new sites; source equipment and ensure all components meet needs and work together seamlessly within the project budget & timeframe.
· Implementing and managing a Mobile Device Management system to secure and manage mobile devices within the company.
· Provide all levels of technical support to all employees.
· Lead on software & hardware ticket receipt, triage (including categorisation, prioritisation, and initial diagnostics), investigation and resolution, where possible.
· Monitor system and network performance.
· Evaluate and address areas of risk – software, hardware, and processes.
· Carry out an audit of existing infrastructure, assessing the longevity and scalability of all systems and equipment.
· Propose plans to improve efficiency and performance, along with budget forecasts and project timelines.
· Perform repairs and data restoration with minimal disruption to operations.
· Maintain licences and upgrade schedules.
· Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality.
· Line management and performance management of IT staff.
· Provide management and leadership of the support members, to include full responsibility for the day-to-day tasks in the department.
· Recommend developments in hardware and software that would benefit the organisation.
· Update schedules and notify members of the support requests of changes in deadlines.
· Maintain and be responsible for support of the retail stores and warehouse across the country and comply with retail trading times to minimise disruption to trade.
· Report to senior management on a regular basis, detailing current projects in plain English.
· Provide out of hours support for all sites, including setting and managing of support staff to accommodate.

· Proactively develop and maintain the highest standards of customer care in all areas of responsibility.
Relationships
· Always maintain effective communication, ensuring that all information is shared with relevant staff, clients and customers.
· Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel internal and external.
· Provide regular feedback to IT Director on all developments and problems in your areas of responsibility.
· Act always in the best interest of the business to further good relations.
Self Development
· Conduct a continual review of personal performance, seeking to improve effectiveness both individually and as a team member.
· Assist in the identification of personal training and development needs in relation to your duties and ensure these are fulfilled in line with departmental business objectives.
· Understand and work towards individual, team and business objectives.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £65,000.00 per year
