Operating for over 75 years, from within West Yorkshire, we are a family owned and operated manufacturer of catering equipment & servery counters, supplying a number of prestigious clients both nationally and internationally.
The Role
We require a reliable, focused and career driven individual to join our Contracts Specials department in the role of Graduate Design Engineer.
You will be career focused, reliable, be competent with 3D CAD and also have a design related qualification at university or college level.

Key Responsibilities
·To work alongside our Contracts department in a Graduate / Trainee role to assist with the creation of quality commercial catering equipment designs, supported by technical information, that ensure the resultant Victor Manufacturing products meet customers’ expectations and are manufactured cost effectively.
·To proactively engage with colleagues, industry partners and other stakeholders to ensure current and future projects are completed in a professional and timely manner.
·To collect and develop a practical understanding of specific aspects of food catering display and counter systems and apply such knowledge to support the contracts departments work.
Specific Duties
1.Design ‘Engineer-to-Order’ Contracts Special counters in accordance with customer specifications.
2.Improve designs of existing products and offerings.
3.The introduction of new products and offerings into mainstream production.
4.Assist in improvements to our manufacturing and assembly processes.
5.Process design modifications of parts and counters.
7.Perform other duties relevant to the post.

Experience with Auto CAD – Essential
Design related qualification/s – Essential
Experience with sheet metal fabrication / manufacturing – Desirable
Hours of Employment
7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
7:30am - 3:00pm (Friday)
