Job description
SMART IT Providers Ltd requires Two IT Managers to join the company. Applicants must be experienced and have a proven track record that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the following key functions of the role.
Key Duties
* Create a thorough project timeline, establish a baseline for it, and manage any adjustments to guarantee delivery on time.
* Resource, scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and change management project planning.
* Assign tasks, keep tabs on them, assess the project's scope, schedule, quality, resource needs, costs, and hazards periodically, and take corrective action as necessary.
* Execute the project using agile project management techniques.
* Control the Statement of Work (SOW) and guarantee that all staging modifications are documented in the form of SOW addendums.
* Provide internal application and system development teams with security advisory services about network/perimeter security best practices.
* Work as a mentor and implementing suitable network and system monitoring with the Security Operations Center.
* Analyse security equipment and tools from suppliers to support client security standards and regulations.
* Site-to-site VPN configuration on Palo Alto firewalls Worked with Panorama servers and Palo Alto firewalls to monitor, block, and accept traffic on the firewall.
* Install Auto-Scaling Microsoft Azure VM Firewalls and administering them.
* NSX, VM-Series, and Panorama integration using NSX Manager to deploy a VM-Series Firewall instance.
* Undertake feasibility study and responsible for the design and implementation of infrastructure build, implementation, and configuration activities.
* Write and communicate business requirements and functional specifications
* Develop/build IT Security solutions in cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, and GCP to meet business requirements. Install and configures solutions.
* Mentor and train junior level staff and maintain a knowledgebase comprising a technical reference library, security advisories and alerts, information on security trends and practices.
* Implement and evaluate the infrastructure solutions in the cloud security environment.
* Write operational documentation and provides subsequent support and training for users
Key Skills
* The successful candidate must hold any bachelor’s degree with demonstrable experience within Azure cloud environment with very good knowledge in Security.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with business managers, IT engineering and IT operations staff.
* Must have experience in developing and maintaining policies, procedures and guidelines.
* Must have experience with common information security management frameworks.
* Ability to work effectively with business managers, production, and operations staff as well as IT engineers, technicians, and administrators.
* Must have excellent understanding of Agile process management principles and an understanding of operating system internals and network protocols.
* Must have excellent troubleshooting/critical thinking skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlines.
* Must have experience in leading project teams and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information
* Must have proven experience managing various large network architectures.
* Must have proven experience on Palo Alto firewalls and securing Internet facing applications.
* Must have minimum of 3+ years of experience in Public Cloud technologies including AWS and Microsoft Azure specifically in networking and security solutions and implementation.
* Must have technical experience with network security technologies (ex. Firewalls, proxy, and network segmentation), internet design, architecting and working in multiple firewalls
* Must have Expert in Implementing infrastructure solutions in Azure and provide security recommendations for the hosted environment, Azure networking, site-to-site configurations, and route tables.
* Must have experience in hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions and implementation
* Must have sound knowledge of Design Patterns, implementation and Architecture and Experience in resolving day to day operational issues
* Must have knowledge in providing solutions and implementing azure backup and Disaster recovery.
* Mandatory experience in Azure AD, identity & access management and RBAC
* PaaS/IaaS design and DevOps automation experience using terraform
* Must have knowledge in providing suggestions on Azure governance, security, and policies
* Must have experience working with Azure services and integrating them with applications as per 3-tier architecture
* Must be comfortable within cloud environments using AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba
* Mandatory experience in gathering system requirements, processes and conducting Gap analysis, and documenting the business requirements based on functional and non-functional requirements.
* Must possess very good business and technical skills in emerging technologies
* Good communication skills in English and Commitment to Quality, flexibility, prioritization skills and a demonstrable ability to deal with clients are mandatory.
