IT & Systems Manager – South London
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen as part of a rapidly developing convenience food manufacturer.
The Company
The company is a private family-owned food manufacturer in South London supplying foodservice and retail clients with a range of chilled ready to eat products. Due to the fast organic growth of the business, we are looking for an IT & Systems Manager to help our business realise it’s ambition of becoming the leading FTG supplier in the UK with innovative technological solutions.
The Role
As the IT lead in the business you will be responsible for the management of all IT and IT related activities across the business. Working collaboratively with the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for driving efficiencies across the business by both implementing new software systems and integrating existing systems so that the business has a platform to grow from in the coming years.
Day to day IT is managed by an external service provider and you will be responsible for managing the partnership. The successful candidate will need to be able to work independently with high levels of autonomy but also be able to build a team around them as the business grows in the future.
The business has a clear understanding that digitalising our business with effective IT solutions is key to our growth and we will be looking for the successful candidate to make a significant contribution to how we can streamline the running of our business and help achieve the company’s vision of becoming a leading chilled food manufacturer in the country.
The Person
You will be an ambitious, forward-thinking individual willing to grow, with a fast paced and energetic company. With a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role and with proven project management experience, you will be able to demonstrate leadership, commitment and focus to the business. We are looking for the candidate to hold the following technical skills:
Office 365 suite
Share Point
EDI implementation
ERP implementation
Proven automation implementation experience
Experience in Cyber security
Good understanding of IT network infrastructure including switches, firewalls and VPN
