An Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to work for a Global FMCG client based in Slough , My client are leaders in their industry who offer their employees an exciting , friendly and motivational environment plus state of the art new offices with Hybrid working.
The IT Manager will be responsible for the provision of IT services to 3 main locations across the UK to ensure the availability of IT infrastructure services and applications according to the business Infrastructure standards and Global Application roadmap , you will be working as a IT business partner with the business in developing and implementing IT strategies and plans for the UK Business.
Support Services to the UK Organisation which includes Sales offices, Distribution Centres and Warehouses
Provides support to end user devices
- Manage and coordinate IT activities for the UK organization
- Maintain IT policies/procedures in accordance to IT policies and procedures
- Ensuring IT service management
- Ensure IT systems and infrastructure availability
- Identifies and audit risk concerns. Develops and executes steps to mitigate them
- Ensure IT documentations are up to date and meet quality standards.
- Provide disaster recovery processes and procedures.
- Provide Consultation on IT to local business
- Implement and ensure High Cybersecurity standards
- Plan, manage, and execute project and project tasks assigned or planned according to IT & local business roadmap (early involvement in projects and local portfolio management)
- Apply professional project management methodology
- Analyse IT systems and infrastructure issues and provide solutions
- Participate in (international) Business Projects working with the business teams to implement Business applications and processes representing local organisational needs
- Steer external vendors related to the business and IT projects.
- Develop and communicate local IT strategy in line with the overall IT strategy and mission and the needs of internal and external customers
- Earn commitment and ensure the roll-out of the local IT strategy with the help of direct reports, peers and management.
- Foster the use of new digital tools to drive business
- Follow trends in digitalization
- Proactively consult internal and external customers on digital solutions and IT solutions that support local and central business processes in the most efficient way (advising on such topics as: data and IT security, future development of IT technology, replacement of existing systems and introduction of new applications)
The role comes with an excellent salary , Car or Car allowance as you will be required to visit other UK sites when needed.
